Bates Meetup Agrees to Restart Weekend Beach Picnics In June
At the monthly online meeting of the SCNA/Friends of Bates Beach members on April 20, the members agreed to start the monthly weekend picnic to Bates Beach, beginning June 19.
The mid-week beach visits will begin again in May, subject to the weather (“as in “May gray” and “June gloom”). Details will appear online at www.meetup.com/friendsofbatesbeach and in the activity calendar of this newsletter.
The members were also informed that a redesigned web site for FOBB by a new web designer is underway and should be launched around June 1. The June newsletter will show highlights of the new web pages.
The online petition was promoted (see story above) and members were asked to have their friends sign it also.
